Client Journal tab overview

The Journal tab is where new Client Journals can be created and historical Client Journals can be accessed. Client Journals are in essence any notes or evidence recorded by Staff who work and interact directly with Clients. Client Journals are an important way to document ongoing support and track Clients' progress towards their Goals.

This article provides an overview of the different sections of this tab in the Client record and includes a section regarding related learning content for reference.

In addition, this is also where Client Incidents can be created and historical Client Incidents can be accessed. Client Incidents are designed to record details specific to an Incident including Incident Type, Category Level, Precursor to the Incident, what happened, and the outcome.

N.B. Whilst the Client Incidents feature was initially designed to meet reporting requirements in Victoria, it can be utilised by providers across all States and Territories, however, please note it may not meet all of the specific compliance reporting criteria for each.

  • Journals - This is where Journals can be added and a complete paginated list of all Journals that have been created for the Client is displayed here.
