Supported Employment DMI Level NDIS Support Items

The DMI Level NDIS Support Items have not been included in the 2020/21 NDIS Price as the way that Supports for Supported Employment are structured has changed significantly. If your organisation needs to add DMI Level NDIS Support Items to new Funding records, the recent upgrade to v6.21 included a new feature to address this, allowing Support Items from the previous Price Guide period, that have since been removed, to be included in NDIS Direct Client Funding records commencing after the 1st of July, 2020.

For more information regarding this please review the Supports from previous Price Guide setting section of the Price Guide Transition article.

The 'Assistance in specialised supported employment Lv 1-4 DMI' NDIS Support Items were updated following the 1st of July 2017 NDIS Price Guide release.

These items are now set to not having a Price Control and that a quote is not required. This has been the case in the 2018/19 and the 2019/20 NDIS Price Guides.

Given that there is no Price Control, and a quote is not required, we have had to set this to be a quotable item in SupportAbility, in order for the price to be customisable in the NDIS Support Allocations window:

There are two options for adding the DMI Supports to the Client's Funding, either a Flexible Budget for Category 10 is required:

Or, the specific Support Item must be added, with a customised price:

If the price for this weekly Support is fixed i.e. it does not need to be customised, then 'Fixed Price Allocation' can be selected:

Once added it will appear as such:

Setting this Support with a 'Fixed Price Allocation' means that the price of this Support cannot be customised in the Client's NDIS Support Allocations:
